FTS5 candidate-retrieval test

This page does not replace the normal Fetch search. It reads the same private page text already stored in this browser, builds a temporary SQLite FTS5 index in memory, and lets you compare candidate pages.

Privacy / POC limitation

Your indexed document text stays in this browser and is inserted only into an in-memory SQLite database. The SQLite WebAssembly program itself is loaded from jsDelivr, so this lab needs an internet connection to initialise. No document text is sent to jsDelivr by this code. Close or refresh this page and the temporary FTS5 database is gone.

For the first test, use the computer rather than the phone. A 30,000+ page in-memory FTS index can use substantial RAM on mobile Safari.
